Non-School leavers: how to apply to study at Balimo College in 2027

Applications for residents of Western Province to study nursing or teaching at Balimo College in 2027 are now open.

Non-school Leavers are applicants who completed completed Grade 12 through a matriculation centre, or completed Grade 12 at high school and went on to upgrade their marks through a matriculation centre such as FODE.

Step 1:

Applications must be submitted through DHERST’s National Online Application System (NOAS). Applicants who completed Grade 12 or their matriculation studies prior to 2026 will need to contact noasssupport@dherst.gov.pg to receive an invitation letter to access NOAS.

To be eligible, you must place Balimo College as your first preference when applying via NOAS BY 27 NOVEMBER 2026.

Step 2:

Non-school leavers must also complete a 2027 Non-School Leaver Application Pack, which includes an application form plus supporting documentation.

Note that all positions to study at Balimo College in 2027 are fully funded by PNG Sustainable Development Program Ltd. For successful applicants, no student contribution is required towards fees, thanks to SDP.
